What does “natural” really mean?

Organic Voices, a not-for-profit organic foods group, produced this comical online video to point out the difference between “natural” and “unnatural” products.  In The Natural Effect, a slick False Advertising executive shares how “natural” labeling works and how easy it is to use this little marketing trick.  He says, “Your product may contain growth hormone and antibiotics.  Just throw that word natural on there.  Maybe add a picture of a barn?  By adding natural to your package, you increase purchase intent.  And then people think you’re (laughing) just as healthy as organic!”
